Witches Black Salt is packaged in a resealable bag containing 160 grams, with the option of adding a 125ml Clear Glass Apothecary Jar as an optional extra. Please select and add from the drop down menu.
Ingredients & Origin
- Ingredients: Australian Sea Salt, Black Pepper, and Botanical Ash of Bay Leaf, Palo Santo, Rosemary, Juniper Berry, and Sandalwood.
- Origin: Made in Australia from local and imported ingredients.

Botanical Lore & Appearance
These are Herbs and Woods that are well known for their exceptional protective and purifying properties. As a point of interest, they are also often included in exorcism blends with the addition of Myrrh and others.
Dusty Rose Essentials does not use colourants to enhance the colour of Black Salt. The natural colour of Black Salt varies from grey to dark grey/black depending on the Ash. The colour will vary between batches.
HOW TO USE:
- Cleanse your space using your preferred method, then reinstate your protective barriers.
- Scatter the Black Salt liberally (create a line of salt) across thresholds of the home (entrance/exit points; windows and doorways).
Other Points of Interest:
- Like Myrrh and Dragon's Blood, Black Salt can be added to other ingredients to increase their potency.
- Black Salt can also be carried in a sachet, placed on the Altar, used to enhance Rituals, used in Floor washes (ensure that the floor surface is suitable for use with black salt), to create a protective circle, and more.
- Ensure that it is kept away from children and pets at all times and not used in a capacity where they could come into contact with it.
